The world's only supercharged production hypernaked, powered by a 998cc supercharged liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four producing 197 hp and 101 lb-ft of torque, routed through a 6-speed transmission with Kawasaki's bidirectional Quick Shifter (KQS) and an assist and slipper clutch. Standard electronics include Kawasaki's IMU-driven Cornering Management Function (KCMF) suite with 3-mode KTRC traction control, KLCM launch control, integrated KIBS cornering ABS, ride-by-wire throttle with selectable Power and Rider modes, and electronic cruise control, all displayed on a full-color TFT dash with Bluetooth Rideology smartphone connectivity. Chassis hardware includes a trellis steel frame, fully adjustable 43mm Showa SFF-BP inverted fork with 4.7 inches of travel, a fully adjustable Showa gas-charged rear shock with 5.3 inches of travel, and dual 320mm front discs squeezed by radial-mount Brembo M4.32 4-piston calipers on Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires. Full LED lighting and Kawasaki's signature sugomi-inspired hypernaked styling round out a factory-built superhero of a streetbike.
